On the initiative of the Yeghishe Charents House-Museum, in cooperation with the Union of Writers of Armenia, the “Charents Summer” educational project, which began in June, concluded on October 30, 2023 with the “Young Readers’ Conference” format. The project is annual. In 2023 the project under the title” Charents and his Contemporaries” was launched. At the “Charents and his Contemporaries” conference for young readers, the President of the Union of Writers of Armenia Edward Militonyan, the Director of the Yeghishe Charents House-Museum Zhanna Manukyan and contemporary writers Anush Vardanyan and Alis Hovhannsiayan was greeted everyone. The participants of the conference presented their research work during the summer. The participants were young schoolchildren aged 14-17 from 7 schools in Yerevan and RA regions. The goal of the project was to enrich the youth’s summer vacation with educational-cultural-research-entertainment, to arouse interest in scientific research, to help in professional orientation by strengthening the parent-teacher-student-summer-science- entertainment-museum connection. The venue of the conference was the hall of the Union Writers of Armenia.
